Python Job: Data Scraper

Data Engineer – Remote – £25,000 to £40,000

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to work with a range of next generation technologies, including Crypto and Blockchain, to help develop the data aspects of their service. Working primarily in Python, you’ll contribute to data gathering activity as well as work with cutting edge machine learning, AI and data science-based tools.

You’ll be joining a team of experienced engineers (of various skills) and have access opportunities for growth and progression within a dynamic and rapidly growing business.

As a data engineer in this full-time permanent role, you will be responsible for:

· Writing and maintaining software for digital data collection for hundreds of websites

· Developing software to allow for scaling of data gathering across thousands of sources and across multiple team members

What are we looking for?

· Experience in data collection, using tools such as Scrapy

· In depth knowledge of Python, including Regular Expressions

· Intermediate knowledge of SQL - safe insertions, aggregating, filtering etc.

· An understanding of Blockchain technologies is not essential but would be a benefit

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
